The new downloadable forms to fill in for host families interested in taking in participants as well as for participants themselves, have been published. Note that this year there are primary and secondary application forms for guest students, therefore please read the instructions on the procedure carefully.
The second part comprises a list of recommended places and prices to stay for students as well as their MUN-Directors in both youth hostels and hotels.
Host Family Accommodation
Procedure: Schools requesting host families for their students need to fill out a general form for MUN-Directors. The MUN-Directors will then be notified of the possible number of their students that can be accommodated for certain (bear in mind that due to the limited number of host families it is not always possible to accommodate all students from a certain school). After this, students will be asked to fill out additional forms for more detailed information, in order for us to be able to match the participant with the most suitable family.
Please bear in mind that the number of families offering accommodation for participants is limited, therefore regretably first come is first served.
While host family accommodation does offer you an exciting way to meet new people, maybe even look into different lifestyles and see the city of Munich with a expert guidance, you do have to comply to some rules and must behave responsibly and accordingly to the family's needs. The below forms are to ensure that we can match the participant with the best suited family, to make the stay as enjoyable as possible for both parties.

General Accommodation
Please note that reservations must be made on your own accord, these are simply recommendations, while guest family accommodation will be coordinated by us.
The following list is by no means exhaustive. Feel free to search elsewhere if you feel that the recommendations do not satisfy your needs. However, we have tried to include the hostels and hotels that will be best suited to the conference, with easy access and cheap but competent housing. Useful websites for browsing hostels and hotels are www.hostelworld.com and www.booking.com
The prices are guideline prices, and can vary depending on the number of students you bring, how long before the conference you book the rooms and the availability or rooms. Remember to ask for a so-called "Gruppenermäßigung" in Hotels, Hostels will be geared towards large groups to start with.
If you are having trouble with finding your way around these websites as some of them are in German or for any other reason, do not hesitate to contact the Head or Deputy Head of Accommodation.
