This Hostel got really excellent ratings from all websites, some in the area of 90+%! It's very cheap and offers all the leisure facilities that you'd expect (24h Check-in, cheap Internet, All-you-can-eat Breakfast included!) and is praised for its very clean rooms. The real advantage is its central location, just minutes walk from the conference itself, Munich's main social gist is right on your doorstep. It's also on a very quiet side road only 2 minutes walk from the central station, perfect for people who want to make use of the MVV pass and see Munich (Tram, S-Bahn and U-Bahn connections get you pretty much anywhere)
To get to the conference take any S-Bahn to Ostbahnhof and disembark at Isartor.The route from there to the conference is listed at the top of this page.
Dormitories of 18 beds are mockingly cheap (12,50 per night) provided early booking, so it's ideal for large groups.
